Purchase more bandwidth to speed up the delivery of your messages and be able to send a higher message volume.
MailUp features a unique and innovative pricing policy that is based on a
flat fee, which gives you access to a certain message delivery speed (i.e. a certain amount of "bandwidth"). You can send as many messages as you want, to as many contacts as you wish, and manage as many lists as you decide. How many total messages you can send is based on:
- The bandwidth you have subscribed to
- The size of the messages you send
- The size of attachments (if any)
The cost does not change regardless of how many messages you send, within your subscribed bandwidth. This is really important to remember. There are
no additional costs:
- if you send more messages
- if you send larger messages
- if you add more lists
- if you add more contacts
Price is simply determined by the bandwidth you subscribe to. If you need to send messages faster or need to send a higher total volume of messages, you can simply upgrade your bandwidth. If you are not in hurry, you can save a large amount of money compared to many competing solutions.
And the bandwidth you subscribe to is guaranteed by a Service Level Agreement.
EXAMPLE
A MailUp console able to send 50 emails/minute will cost much less than a console able to send 5,000 messages per minute. If you are running a campaign where you are sending messages to 10,000 contacts, in the first scenario it will take around 200 minutes (a bit more than 3 hours), while in the second scenario only around 2 minutes. So the question you need to ask yourself is: within how many hours do I need to send all messages? For some businesses, 12 hours might be just fine. For others, 12 minutes is what they need.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
What if the message is bigger (e.g. longer)?
If a message is twice as big as the one used in another campaign, sending that message to the same number of contacts will take double the time. Message size affects the total time you need to send your messages, and therefore also the total volume of messages that you can send using your current level of bandwidth.
What if the total number of recipients is larger?
There is no additional cost. It will just take longer to complete the campaign. For example, if you now have double the number of contacts you used to have, the campaign will take twice as long.
How can I increase delivery speed?
You can increase the speed at which messages are delivered by purchasing additional bandwidth. You can do so at any time, even while the campaign is under way!
