Connector for MS Dynamics
Allows a MailUp user to connect a MS Dynamics CRM installation to their MailUp account.
Description Once the connector has been installed and configured, a new "MailUp Email" channel will appear in the MS Dynamics administration interface – if the user has permissions to use such features. While the campaign is created within Dynamics, all messages are easily created and edited using the MailUp message editor. The messages created in MailUp are then displayed within the MS Dynamics interface: the user will be able to pick a message for the campaign, and edit parameters such as sender, subject, and sending date and time. After the message is sent, aggregate statistics such as opens, clicks, and bounces become available directly within MS Dynamics. Each contact in Dynammics will now show details relative to the messages that have been sent, including information on clicks and opens for each sent message. Statistical data from a previous campaign (e.g. the list of users that clicked on a certain link) can be the starting point from which to build a new marketing campaign . Components The Connector is installed by qualified technicians on the server where MS Dynamics CRM v4 is run, and includes two components: - Configurator
- It allows the system administrator to configure the connector so that it can interface correctly with the Dynamics instance installed on the server (and the related MS SQL Server), as well as with MailUp (via both web services and FTP). The configurator checks that all credentials have been correctly provided. The Configurator also allows to specify which the CRM "Organizations" available in the Dynamics installation should be used, and link it to a corresponding list within the MailUp system. This means that several different brands can be managed through one installation.
- Mapping Manager
- MailUp and Dynamics data fields are shown, so that they can be mapped correctly. These fields can be leveraged to make the content of the messages more personal and targeted by using MailUp's dynamic tags feature (requires the Message+ package)
Unique Features - Supports multi-organization installations
- Support proxies
- High performance guaranteed by direct access to SQL
- Statistics (mailing, clicks, opens) down to the single account, lead, or contact.
