MailUp now tightly integrated with Microsoft Dynamics CRM

Advanced email campaign management directly from MS Dynamics CRM thanks to the MailUp Connector.

San Francisco, USA, and Milan, Italy, November 23, 2011 - MailUp announced today the release of the MailUp Connector for Microsoft Dynamics CRM.

The MailUp connector for Microsoft Dynamics allows users of the popular CRM system to take advantage of a new "channel" called MailUp Email when executing a campaign. The email marketing campaign is defined directly in Dynamics, while the messages can be created and edited using the MailUp editor. Dynamics CRM will then show a list of available messages and allow the user to pick the one for the current campaign, while editing parameters such as sender, subject, and the mailing date and time.

Once the message has been sent, MailUp makes available aggregate statistics - such as opens, clicks and bounces - directly within the Microsoft platform. In addition, the contacts database is enriched with details about about sent messages, clicks and opens, down to the individual message level.

"The integration that we developed provides advanced email campaign management tools directly within the CRM system. Leveraging the MailUp platform means - for example - being able to see detailed statistics at the individual contact level, automatic management of errors (bounces) and unsubscribe requests, and correct handling of antispam filters" says Nazzareno Gorni, MailUp's General Manager.

The MailUp Connector leverages a direct connection to MS SQL server to ensure high performance.

Once installed on the server hosting the MS Dynamics CRM instance, the Connector links the CRM system and its MS SQL database to MailUp via a double channel (Web services and FTP). During the configuration process, the user can indicate which of the CRM "Organizations" will be associated with a certain List in MailUp: different brands can be managed through one installation.

"We're very happy about this release. A BETA version of the MailUp Connector for MS Dynamics CRM has already been successfully in use by four companies that were using an alternative solution." adds Mr. Gorni.

Among the benefits of using MailUp to carry out email marketing campaigns from MS Dynamics CRM:

  • A robust and scalable email sending infrastructure (MailUp sent over 10 billion emails last year)
  • A system that is optimized to ensure high deliverabiliy
  • Detailed statistics, down to the individual recipient level
  • Efficient management of bounces and unsubscribe requests
  • Support for Proxies and multi-organization installations.
  • High performance guaranteed by direct access to MS SQL Server
  • Statistics (messages sent, clicks, opens) down to the single account, lead, contact.
