San Francisco, May 15, 2012 - MailUp launches MailUp 7.6, the new social media friendly multi-channel platform for scheduling and sending email, SMS, and social messages.
Designed and developed to meet the needs of companies that are increasingly integrating social networks into their messaging campaigns, the new Social channel in MailUp 7.6 lets users post content on Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn, monitor audience activity and view detailed reports.
Thanks to the new Social channel – currently available for free as a BETA release in all MailUp 7.6 accounts - MailUp users can now manage social and email messages easily, under one roof. Scheduling social posts connected to an email newsletter, for example, only takes a couple of clicks.
"Most companies today are fully aware of the importance of integrating social media in their campaigns, but they're tired of having to use different tools and logins to send different messages, through different channels." asserts Massimo Arrigoni, CEO of MailUp. "With MailUp you log in once and can easily create, schedule, send and track email and social messages, under one roof."
The new features introduced in MailUp 7.6 leverage the system's messaging and reporting engine to provide a set of powerful and user-friendly tools to integrate social networks into the mix. Among them:
"We are focusing on the social messaging needs of our clients by simplifying access to social channels, allowing them to control and measure audience activity and giving them total control on their messages" adds Arrigoni.
MailUp offers additional social media tools that encourage user engagement and word of mouth: social media sharing buttons can be inserted into any email message with just one click in the message editor. And users can also enable newsletter subscription via social login.
