Contact the company with whom you registered your domain name for instructions or assistance. You will not be able to access your MailUp console until the C-NAME has propagated. This setting requires that you subscribe to the Private Labeling feature (or that you are a MailUp reseller).

Specify whether you wish to customize the envelope-sender. This is a hidden address (visible only in the message headers under 'Return-path'). This is not the FROM address or the REPLY-TO address, or the SENDER header (on behalf of...). It's a special address that identifies the server responsible for the mailing and cannot be modified at the time the message is sent. It's the address that bounced messages are sent to. They are then automatically downloaded and processed by MailUp. The messages should never be downloaded from the mailbox as this could cause significant deliverability issues in the future (as bounces would not be processed). SPF/Sender-ID and/or DKIM authentication should be used. In most cases, this is a setting that is managed directly by our system.

Customized Envelope-Sender:

To receive bounces to a customized envelope-sender, a dedicated mailbox must be created. This mailbox can be created by you (recommended for better deliverability) or in our system. Please note:

The mailbox cannot be the same email address used as the FROM address
It must be able to handle the potentially high traffic caused by bounced messages
You cannot use a free email address (e.g. gmail, hotmail, etc.)
The mailbox must be accessible via the standard 110 port.
Messages should not be downloaded from the mailbox: they will be downloaded automatically by MailUp at regular intervals.
