We've been working hard on some great new features in our MailUp multi-channel messaging platform designed to benefit ecommerce merchants.
They will make it even easier for an ecommerce store to leverage sophisticated features such as triggered messages and dynamic content to promote customer loyalty and grow revenues.
For example, several ecommerce-focused fields are being added to the MailUp contacts database, together with predefined triggered messages that leverage those fields and are ready to be turned on when you need them.
For example, the system will know which field is designed to store the total amount purchased by a customer, and a predefined triggered message will make it a snap for you to turn on a message automatically sent to a customer whose total purchases exceed and certain amount.
We also prepared some detailed specifications to make it easier to develop ecommerce integrations between MailUp and an ecommerce system.
All in all, there will be a lot to see at the MailUp booth at Internet Retailer 2012.
